Halloween 2008

Gabriella, Charlie and Joseph (our neighboors) on Halloween night.
Charlie and I.
Charlie loved trick-or-treating, and after one house gave him 2 pieces of candy he proceeded to hold up his bag to the rest and keep saying "trick or treat" looking for more candy!

Ready to go....

Anxious to get moving....

Charlie at his "schools" Halloween party (with Blanksters)

Charlie with his Papa and Grannie K. at the Halloween Hoot.

Uncle Patrick & Aunt Mo (AKA Cavepeople) at our Aunt Jean's annual Halloween party.

Charlie loved it when he got a hold of their clubs!

Lucy & Bob the Builder (Grannie and Papa K.)

Me (a witch) and Charlie the Dinosaur.

October 2008

At the pumpkin patch....I'm including this picture because Charlie actually took it!
Charlie claims some pumpkins.

Charlie really enjoyed the petting zoo. He was chasing the sheep and goats!

Charlie clings to his Daddy's head.

Near the river, by the cider mill.

After bobbling for apples Charlie contemplates what just happened. (He liked the idea, he just didn't like getting his face wet.

The groom (Sat), me, Ruthie, Chris and Nick at Sat & Nancy's wedding.
Congrats!

Chris and I up in East Lansing for an MSU football game.

August/September 2008

Sorry it's taken me a long time to update this blog!!! I'll promise to be better in the future...at least until January 29th;)

Charlie and I after a walk along Lake Michigan dunes. I think Charlie has some sort of chocolate stuffed in his mouth....

Chris, Charlie & Haley on another walk near Lake Michigan.

Our little knight. (At the Michigan Renaissance Festival in August.)

Charlie loves to ride ponies and was very disappointed that the "brown one" was not saddled up!

Charlie and his Grandma C. (again at the Michigan Ren Fest). It was International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Thomas & Bob

My mom and I took Charlie to see Thomas the Train and Bob the Builder at Huckleberry Railroads/Crossroads Village. Charlie doesn't watch either show much, but he LOVES playing with the Thomas trains he has and he loves tractors, etc.
My mom and Charlie after our Thomas ride.

Riding on the Thomas Train.

Charlie really enjoyed the inflatables....it was a tandrum to get him to do something else!

The Bob the Builder show Charlie is second from the left....

Up North, Etc.

Charlie's Great Aunt Jean and Uncle Fred recently brought Charlie over this little swing. I found him lounging on it (looking not unlike his Daddyon the couch), but he revived himself for this pic.
UP NORTH (TRAVERSE CITY)
After his first ride, in which he was a bit unsure, Charlie loved to take sloooooow rides with his Dad on the Sea Doo. (Or, as Charlie says, "Ski Dude").

Chris caught a 23 inch pike while fishing one morning. Charlie was fastinated by the fish..until his Dad dropped in on the boat deck and it started thrashing around:)

Happy Anniversary!

I love this picture of Charlie. I think he looks like a little thoughtful writer, or adventurer. We made a trip to the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes while we were staying in Traverse City.

Charlie and I in the forest (where there are "no bears here".)

We figured out that Charlie loved to ride the tractor, as long as he was wearing mufflers (or whatever they're called....)

Chris and his mom at the camp fire.

During the examination....

After! (They both look happy about it...)
Anyways, we were happy that Allison and Brian could join us for a few days!

Charlie loves to wear his life vest.

Chris's Whisky Weekend

I'm going to let Chris write the details about this event at a later date.... Here's some pics for now, Bev

Chris, Charlie and I were lucky enough to get to meet up with Evan, Steve, Miki, and Lindsey at Sea World, San Antonio. We had a great time!

Charlie doing his "whale tail."

Charlie and Miki were great buddies during our couple day at Sea World. He stills talks about his friend in Texas. Shamu was Charlie's favorite show by far.

Charlie was getting a bit tired of smiling after a long day.
