Our trip to Mauritius

Mauritius is beautiful! Posted by Picasa

We just got back from a fantastic trip to Mauritius, a small island off the east coast of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. We would probably never have even known about this lovely place but we met wonderful friends James & Louise in Glasgow, and Louise is from Mauritius. So, we were invited to the wedding!

We have lots and lots of pictures and these postings are only a small fraction. Whenever we see you next we will tote along a picture album, for sure.

Mauritius is a spectacular place where the people are friendly and the scenery is gorgeous. The beaches in the Bahamas and Mexico can't compare! I liked it because there were touristy things to do, yet everything wasn't done up into shopping plazas and the locals hung out at the same places.

Anyways, it really was a trip to remember! Congrats James & Louise!

Charlie will sleep anywhere...even on the beach! Posted by Picasa
