Charlie, 1 1/2 Years Old, & Our New House

Our pumkin head at 1 & 1/2 years (actually, at 19 months...)
Charlie has turned into a very funny little boy...If you ask him what he wants for dinner he usually chants "Meat, meat." I don't think this guy is ever going to be a vegetarian! He has also become very bossy, and likes to tell me to do things like sit somewhere or to eat my food. Charlie also likes to tell us which animals to sing about in "Old MacDonald" by shouting "Moo moo" or "Baa Baa" or "Beeg" (translation...pig). He is also a very sweet boy, and gives kisses out (he prefers to give juicy mouth kisses) very readily. Charlie is also obsessed with a Baby Einstein video titled, "Baby MacDonald." It's a great video, but I think that everyone is hoping he grows out of it sooner rather than later! He is also pretty big for his age...at 19 months he was 32.5 pounds and 35 (?I think) inches...putting him in some 4T clothing.

The front

We plan on planting a few trees, etc. The red barn is the neighboors...
Charlie and Haley are alrady enjoying the house as it has a nice sized back garden-with a tree house and swing set for Charlie. Charlie already goes right to the back door to go outside and play, which makes Chris and I feel like we picked the right house! There are also 2 black labs who live behind us that Haley seemed friend with, too! We have been busy painting and cleaning, and hopefully we will move in by Wednesday!

Charlie in our bathroom cupboards (the one off our bedroom).

Charlie, me and Haley in the kitchen (picture taken from the family room, the door behind me leads to the living room, and the door next to me leads outside, where Haley is obviously waiting to go).

Fall Festivities

The next few images are basically for our overseas friends- to show them how nuts Americans are about Halloween! These are houses near my parents house that really go all out for Halloween!
Kind of a musical ghoul theme.

Kind of funny...

Charlie was in a sub mini-parade with some other kids from the street.

Charlie is ready to trick-or-treat! He really caught on after a few houses- and after he got a few M & M's!

The Tiger and Chris in front of my parent's house. (The blurr of Charlie's hand is from him doing his tiger impression and saying Grrrrrr).
